Meet Chyan!

Hi, I'm Chyan! I'm thrilled that you are here. The first time I entered a yoga studio I felt safe, like I deserved to be there and be vulnerable with my practice. Finding a safe space where i felt comfortable moving my body and being active was always hard for me, and yoga allowed me to deepen my understanding of my relationship with God, Spirituality, and physical and mental health.

 

I want to share my knowledge and passion for yoga to guide others in improving their physical strength, spiritual and mental well being, and build confidence within themselves. As a yoga teacher, I have the opportunity to create a safe and nurturing space for my students allowing them to cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and find inner peace. Teaching yoga is a beautiful way to make a positive impact on peoples lives and contribute to their overall health and happiness.

"Keep an open mind! Allow yourself to open your heart and your mind to anything yoga may bring your way. Yoga is your own practice, do whatever feels comfortable for your body and go at your own pace. What matters the most is that you are showing up for yourself."

If you could tell potential clients one thing about yoga, what would it be?

Chyan is a certified yoga instructor in Wilmington, NC. She is originally from Long Beach, New Jersey and moved to South Carolina in 2012 to attend college at Coastal Carolina. She then joined the South Carolina National Guard and later decided to take a different direction. This is when Chyan began her yoga journey. Three years ago, Chyan moved to Wilmington and believes this is the best decision she has ever made.
